<p><span style="color: #27ae60;"><strong>The Apprentice Will:</strong></span></p> <p>The basic function of the Apprentice of M Bar C is to perform assigned general physical labor activities properly and efficiently. Other critical functions include digging foundations, pouring and finishing concrete, installing heavy gage and light gage steel, help maintain a clean and secure job site.</p> <ul> <li>Travel to project job sites including out of town projects requiring overnight stays during duration of projects.</li> <li>Digging foundations.</li> <li>Pouring concrete.</li> <li>Installing steel posts, beams, and purlins.</li> <li>Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of this job.</li> <li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment and job site.</li> <li>Comply with all safety guidelines.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Perform other similar duties as assigned.</li> </ul>

<p><span style="color: #27ae60;"><strong>The Ideal Candidate Will Have:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.</li> <li>Must be fully committed to safety and possess the ability to recognize potential hazards and thereby avoiding incidents.</li> <li>Meets scheduled deadlines to achieve established Foremen onsite goals.</li> <li>Shows ability to consistently recognize and deal with onsite priorities based on department objectives.</li> <li>Maintains an organized and efficient work environment.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Bilingual beneficial but not required.</li> <li>Required: High school diploma or equivalent.</li> <li>Preferred: A minimum of one (1) years of experience with construction, performing similar duties/tasks, related industry, or equivalent work experience.</li> <li>Required: Valid driver’s license (approved driving record required per company policy).</li> <li>Required: 1 or more years of experience as supervisor on Federal, DSA, or Commercial construction on projects increasing in scope, complexity, and value.</li> <li>Preferred: Framing, Structural Steel, Electrical or Solar Trade Experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/ Dynamics 365.</li> </ul>
